The SPACE-2 Group comprises a number of businesses and initiatives that focus on sustainability. We operate across the media and event production, property, digital sectors and related supply-chains by maximising the opportunities generated and taking a creative ecosystem approach. We work with strategic landowners, commercial property companies, media, event production businesses and clusters of SMEs. In defined geographical areas of the UK, the Group’s companies focus on researching, developing and providing niche ‘sustainability-first’ services to an ever-growing client base.
Over the last twelve months the Group has entirely refocused its efforts on emerging trends, which have been accelerated dramatically by the pandemic. Our primary focus has been how we can support our sectors, clients and partners’ transition to Net Zero and how to deliver best practice in creative ecosystems across the UK. By applying over 15 years’ experience and having worked on over 3,800 location-based activities, we are well placed to understand the sustainability challenges our clients face. We will work to create the solutions that are so urgently required.
We also believe that the ‘well-being’ agenda is going to become a more critical component post-pandemic in how businesses operate. Employees and freelancers choose who they work for, where they work and how consumers engage with and value brands. Our commitment across all our business initiatives is to factor in how we operate, how we develop our businesses and how we advise clients and partners.
As a group we have made extensive commitments to the sustainability agenda and the Group has become a member of Sustainability West Midlands, committing to the West Midlands Net Zero Pledge.
The SPACE-2 Group’s extensive team of advisors, consultants, stakeholders, suppliers and with the significant network of contacts over the last 15 years, we have access to companies, business support organisations and technology providers. This enables the Group to develop innovative, responsive, low-carbon business models and to address the challenges facing these sectors and locations.
As an integral part of the SPACE-2 Group’s businesses, we have agreed to develop a more sustainable media production ecosystem with supporting infrastructure and services.
Our vision is simple, we promise to make it easier for production companies and content producers to reduce their carbon footprint. To get closer to Net Zero whilst they work with us. Aligning with the PGA, EMA Green Seal and BAFTA’s Albert have been doing and using our LOCATIONZ™ sustainability framework, which we’ve developed with our Circular Economy Specialists 540 WORLD. We are keen to talk to partners, clients, suppliers, competitors with similar aspirations.
We are seeking producers and production companies to collaborate with us at our test pilot sites. To discuss the challenges faced when producing content more sustainably and to help us inform the development of other solutions. Therefore we are actively working on a plan which we hope to announce in coming months.
Since March 2020, the global economy has faced unprecedented challenges. We have all experienced the disruption that poses. Significant changes to the way places and businesses operate, not least around the environment, digital adoption, events and workplace. SPACE-2 Consulting has seen some of these trends coming over the years. These trends are not only accelerating, but the linear models relied upon before are no longer fit for purpose and new business ecosystems will arise as a result. This will be at the expense of “business as usual” and the assumptions previously made by asset owners that long-term value is built in and can be relied upon. Moreover, in line with the SPACE-2 Group’s wider focus, we also believe that sustainability and the impact of transitioning to Net Zero will see fundamental changes being adopted. With businesses and individuals, not least in investment and production terms, as well as day-to-day operations,we are committed to offering advice and delivering on how changes can be harnessed for sustainable growth.
Our consultants come from a range of backgrounds that perhaps more than ever will help support businesses that believe linear business models are redundant, and where the adoption of flexibility, resilience and crucially sustainability are key. We have extensive knowledge of and track records in setting up and running companies, as well as supporting business owners in developing their businesses. Our consultants also have the benefit of entrepreneurial, financial and operational experience from a range of sectors including circular economy, sustainability, property, media and event production.
SPACE-2 Consulting has undertaken projects ranging from mapping regional infrastructure, providing business case reports for creative hub developments to overseeing practical delivery projects for studios and film production. We are in the process of running a test pilot scheme on our sustainability production framework with our clients. We are also approaching new strategic partners with aligned circular sustainability goals.

Whether you are looking to build sets, need design inspiration or are looking to repurpose/recycle project resources, we’re keen to discuss how we can help and in coming months, we’ll be working with a range of film/TV, theatre and event projects to help us achieve “best practice” in our service offering.
With a central logistics and storage hub in the West Midlands, we can service projects across the UK working with our roster of approved haulage companies and waste transformers to ensure the most efficient collection or delivery of items.
We have recently been accredited as an Albert (BAFTA) approved supplier.
Revival Props is not a traditional prop house. Think of it as a props sourcing and delivery service. Through our national network of property and facilities partners, we aim to re-use and recycle items contained within hundreds of properties, predominantly commercial buildings, offices and telephone exchanges. These would otherwise be destined for landfill. We primarily specialise in retro office furniture and IT, communication and testing equipment. Our focus is on items dating from the 1950s-1990s (although we also stock contemporary furniture). The scale of our partner’s portfolios means we can often source items in bulk (6+) so if you need multiples of lockers, filing cabinets, seating and IT equipment from the second half of the 20th century, we’re the company to contact.
MONCOE is a new breed of digital agency with a focus on transforming the way micro and small businesses operate and deliver services. We focus on minimising the impact on the environment. Developing a digital, sustainable ecosystem for a new or existing business may sound daunting but with MONCOE’s support, advice and experience we’ll help you see the benefits and adopt new ways of working.
As a business that has been established in a rural location we operate in a low-carbon environment but deliver services locally, regionally, nationally and even globally. The idea is that the right digital strategy and tools can put you at the centre of your target market, whilst reducing your carbon footprint at the same time.
Film Warwickshire is one of a number of our area-focused initiatives. Its main aim is to provide business development, marketing support and co‑ordination services, as well as to offer a wide range of locations for use by the film, TV and photographic industries. Clients considering the county for their next project/shoot or those creative businesses already based here can be assured of our best practice services
In light of the impact of the pandemic on both the media production and tourism sectors, Film Warwickshire also aims to act as a catalyst to support, sustain and engage with creatives and businesses alike. This ensures a stable ecosystem from which to leverage the opportunities for and minimise the challenges to the wider screen sector, whilst ensuring that any activity looks to minimise and offset its carbon footprint.
